In 24 years of commitment and passion to art, and 17 years living from doing what he loves Luis Salgado has developed a need to make art that matters, Art that serves a purpose and a real passion for Storytelling. His culture and social beliefs have given him the opportunities to work with some of the biggest companies as well as the most organic and low key organizations teaching him the balance between art and commerce. Luis has directed and choreographed musicals and plays, as well as conceived and developed many others. Luis was the Latin Assistant Choreographer of the Tony Award winning musical In The Heights and wants to pass all of his experiences in art to potential new projects that serve a purpose.

Heather met Luis while working on In The Heights on Broadway as part of the stage management team. She has had the honor of being the artistic assistant to Luis Salgado for the past 4 years. She has worked on various events & projects as part of Salgado Productions & R.Evolución Latina from Antonio Banderas’s Perfume launch to the Puerto Rican Day Parade. She traveled to Peru for Candela "Fuerza y Pasion" as the Creative Stage Manager & recently was the Asst Director on Amigo Duende.
Ahren Victory is ecstatic to be joining the Salgado Productions team! She is a New York based performer who most recently made her National Broadway Tour debut as Sillabub in the musical CATS. She began her performance training in the Classical Vocal Arts, and has performed with Opera Theatre of the Rockies, among other theatres in the country. Her Regional Theatre Credits include; CATS, Hairspray, Joseph Technicolor…, and The Women. Ahren has her Bachelors Degree with an emphasis in Arts, Media, and Entertainment. Having been trained in various styles of Dance, she is privileged to have worked closely with several choreographers in New York on various projects. Let’s make ‘Art with a Purpose’!

Denisse has joined Luis as Investor/Producer for Broadway productions of Godspell, Peter and the Starcatcher and the reading Distant Thunder (Directed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett). Denisse has been next to Luis in the development of all his companies including the successful Dreamers Company in Puerto Rico and La Academia de Arte Ensuenos. She has served as the Co-Executive Director of R.Evolución Latina for the last five years, managing close to half of million dollars in services and social ARTS Support.
La primera vez que trabajó con Salgado Productions fue en el 2011 en Perú en la producción de Candela Fuerza y Pasión. El proceso que vivió como parte del equipo de producción la cautivó por completo. A partir de ahí ha colaborado con Salgado Productions de diferentes maneras y hoy forma parte del equipo. Productora y especialista en Marketing con experiencia en el desarrollo de imagen corporativa, comunicación, creación y desarrollo de conceptos.
Graduated from VLIMA as "Musical Theatre and Opera Rock performer".
Dancer with training in hiphop, jazz, tap, contemporary, ballet and street jazz. She completed her "Summer Dance" at Point Park University (Pittsburgh - USA) and participated in "R.Evolución Latina" in New York for three consecutive years.
She studied singing and was part of the vocal trio "Daiqari" which is characterized by making songs with three voices. She also trained piano and plays other instruments such as guitar and percussion.
In theater she trained with various professors and performed works such as "Babylon", "Passion Bohemia", "Beauty and the Beast", "Nine", "Avenue Q", "Almost perfect love", among others.
She was part of the cast of "The tempest", "To be or not to be", "Antigone in Ferguson", "The gauntlet" (NYC), "The secret forest", "Etermágico", "Cucotel", "C ' est la vie ”and“ Incunables ”among others (ARG).
Born to Assyrian-Iranian immigrants in Orange, California, Megan is an actor and a theatre artist now based in New York City. She is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington, where she studied theatre, musical theatre, and arts administration. Since 2016, she has worked with Synetic Theater—DC’s premier physical theater company—where she is a company member and has performed in a number of their productions, including her favorites The Tempest and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. When she first arrived in NYC, Megan joined Waterwell Productions, Inc. (Arian Moayed) as their Management Intern and assisted in the production of The Courtroom, a verbatim reenactment of a deportation proceeding, which is still touring locally in New York. Megan first met Luis when she participated in R.Evolución Latina’s Beyond Workshop Series in 2019, and since then she has been inspired by his enthusiasm and is excited to now be working with Salgado Productions!

Salgado Productions Advisor / Broadway Producer
I had the pleasure of working with Luis on In The Heights, and since then I’ve been impressed by his passion and commitment to create art and inspire others. Currently, Jill is co-lead producing Rodgers+Hammerstein’s Cinderella on Broadway and the hip-hop comedy group Freestyle Love Supreme. She is also an executive producer of the upcoming filmGreetings From Tim Buckley. Jill was co-lead producer of In The Heights, which won the Tony Award for Best Musical in 2008, and other past Broadway productions include The Heiress, Seminar, West Side Story, The Drowsy Chaperone, Sly Fox, and Fortune’s Fool. Past Off-Broadway productions include On The Line and Adult Entertainment. In 2011 Jill received the Robert Whitehead Award for Outstanding Achievement in Commercial Theatre Producing. She is on the boards of MCC Theater and The David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, and is a member of the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures.

Shaheen met the extraordinarily gifted Luis Salgado when he was cast
in Fame on 42nd Street and their professional relationship has flourished. Dan is currently involved in numerous Broadway productions including Pippin, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Cinderella. He is proud of his long association with authors Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt as Executive Producer of Portfolio Productions. Of their works, he has produced The Fantasticks off-Broadway revival and tours throughout Japan, in Egypt for the U.S. State Department, the 30th Anniversary production starting Robert Goulet and the off-Broadway revival of I Do! I Do! As a production supervisor or stage manager his New York credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Hot Feet, and All My Sons on Broadway and Fame on 42nd Street and Modern Orthodox off-Broadway. He also supervised the National tours of Fame, as well as multiple international productions including Italy, Spain and Portugal and is on the Board of Directors of The Father Fame Foundation, which promotes theatre arts and education.

Quiara was the winner of the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for her play Water by the Spoonful. The Philadelphia native had previously been a Pulitzer finalist in 2007 for her play Elliot, A Soldier's Fugue and again in 2009 for her original musical In the Heights. Hudes’ book for Broadway’s In the Heights was also a Tony nominee, and the musical, written with Lin-Manuel Miranda, won the Tony Award for Best Musical in 2008. Her newest play, The Happiest Song Plays Last, premiered at the Goodman Theater and will soon be in New York at Second Stage. Hudes lives in New York with her husband and children.

Andréa is currently performing on Broadway with Nathan Lane in the Tony nominated play, The Nance, by Douglas Carter Beane. Andréa is a Drama Desk Award winner having delighted Broadway audiences as the saucy “Daniela” in the Tony Awardwinning musical, In The Heights. Other Broadway credits include, Beauty and the Beast, The Full Monty, and The Ritz. OffBroadway credits include: Jason Robert Brown’s Songs for a New World and Stephen Sondheim’s Saturday Night. National Tours: Parade (National Broadway Award nomination), The Full Monty, Company. A versatile actress, Andréa has played a variety of roles across this country ranging from Dot in Sunday in the Park with George (Joseph Jefferson Award nomination) to Eva Peron in Evita to most recently, Diana in Next to Normal. Television credits include The Electric Company, Law & Order:SVU, Rescue Me, and Smash. Her solo album , A Deeper Shade of Red, is available on itunes. Andréa serves on the faculty of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

Resident Music Consultant of Salgado Productions, Composer of Amigo Duende
Drama Desk Award recipient for Outstanding Ensemble Performance in the Tony Award and Grammy Award Winning Musical of 2008 In the Heights. He then originated the role of “Favorite Son” in the rock musical American Idiot along side Billie Joe Armstrong and in 2011 he starred in Susan Stroman's The Scottsboro Boys as “Haywood” Patterson which earned him a Tony Award Nomination for Best Leading Actor in a Musical.

He is originally from Peñuelas, Puerto Rico and currently resides in Jersey City, where he is following his passion for the arts and sciences in the Digital Arts industry. Since he moved to the NYC area, Victor has been involved with non-profit organizations like TEDxHoboken and R.Evolución Latina. He has also made an impact in the brand image of Salgado Productions.

Harry, originally from San Juan, PR, has been based in NYC for over twenty years. His first collaboration with Salgado Productions was Amigo Duende. He has also worked with Atlantic Theater, Lincoln Center Institute, Pregones, Juilliard, Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, Hostos Repertory Theater, Labyrinth, Teatro Circulo, Sea, Theater for the New City, International Ensemble Theatre, Spectrum Stage, Intar, Hartford’s TheaterWorks, Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, Harrisburg’s Open Stage, Cuba’s Danza del Alma, and R.Evolución Latina, to name a few. As producer, he co-produced Chicago and Hedwig and The Angry Inch in Puerto Rico. On Broadway he was assistant costume designer for Paul Simon's The Capeman, and A Class Act. MFA, Tisch-NYU. Herrick’s work has been seen Off-Broadway and all over the US and the globe. Including Manila, Shanghai, Brisbane, Brazil, Germany, Peru, and exotic Canada. He designs for theater, dance, concerts, and live events. He has had the pleasure of working with Luis and Salgado Productions on Serenade, Ser o no Cer...vantes, Shafrika, Candela, I’ll be Damned, Amigo Duende, Zapata!, and Dance from the Heart 2010. Herrick is a 2009 Hewes award nominee for his work on ROOMS and the recipient of the 2009 ISES Big Apple Award for best lighting design for an event. He was also honored with the 2009 Redden award for excellence in lighting design at that year’s Lighting Design International convention. Italian by birth but Spanish by adoption, Valeria has spent her entire life in the performing arts (MAYUMANA, YLLANA, The Wedding Singer, Opera Lirica and more) In 2010 Valeria traveled to the United States to assist the choreography of the show Ser o no Cer…vantes, where she met Luis Salgado with whom she felt a strong artistic bond. Valeria was invited to participate as a choreographer in R.Evolución Latina’s 2011 Choreographers Festival. Thus began a collaboration that led Valeria to be part of Salgado Productions. She was the assistant Director and Associate Choreographer for CANDELA “Fuerza y Pasion” in Lima Peru. Currently based in New York she continues her collaboration with Luis assisting him in the choreography of DC-7 The Roberto Clemente Story, Zapata! The musical (NYMF) and Amigo Duende, a new musical.
Kate started her journey with Salgado Productions with Amigo Duende. She has worked as both Set and Costume Designer for dance and physical theatre, musicals, classical theatre and even illusion shows. She has also enjoyed success as a Production Designer for film and television. Her films have been shown at festivals worldwide including twice at Cannes and also won at SXSW and LA film Festival. She has undertaken commercial projects for Nike, Chloe Sevigny at Show Studio and even designed the set for the 2012 Gotham Awards. Kate has taught theatre programs on both sides of the Atlantic. Associate Shakespeare Director
Most recently with Salgado Productions Ian adapted and co-directed with Luis Salgado, Othello: A 25 Minute Adaptation for Teatro StageFest and Jose Limon Dance Company. Ian has been the teacher and curriculum designer for the R.Evolucion Latina Shakespeare Project for 5 years and has taught in the Beyond Workshop Series and The D2GB summer camp. Ian was the Shakespeare Initiative Associate at The Public Theater for several years. He continues there as the founder/director of A Midsummer Day’s Camp. He has worked as a text coach at The Public, The Juilliard School, Williamstown Theater Festival, Shakespeare on the Sound and R.Evolucion Latina. He has taught Shakespeare in graduate programs, colleges, high schools, middle Schools, shelters, community centers and prisons.
Juan Pablo Lostannau
Juan Pablo met Luis when he was invited as a member of Compania de Danza D1 from Lima, Peru to perform in R.Evolución Latina's 2011 Choreographers Festival in New York City. It was Juan Pablo's first time performing outside his country and Luis made him feel right at home. Later that year Luis returned to Lima to direct Candela - Fuerza y Passion, where Juan Pablo started as a featured dancer and assisted in choreography and later became the co-director. Since then Juan Pablo has had the pleasure of working alongside Luis in various projects such as
Beyond Workshop Series (Peru) and now the upcoming concert "50 Anos Cecilia Bracamonte." Juan Pablo is always grateful to Luis for bringing him new and unique experiences.
Antonio Vilchez is an artist and educator working with the fusion of Peruvian music and his own dance. Antonio feels close to Salgado Productions philosophy of ART WITH A PURPOSE to create social change. He met Luis while working together on “Mezcla”, where Antonio was a teacher and choreographer. In 2011 he traveled to New York as a drummer and tap dancer to work with Jazz Sextet Gabriel Alegría.
While in NYC, he taught Zapeteo "Peruvian tap" dance at R.Evolución Latina's D2GB Children's Performing Arts Camp and collaborated in the children's final presentation. Antonio worked as a choreographer, advisor and featured dancer the Peruvian Candela- "Fuerza y Pasion” directed by Luis Salgado, and is currently working as associate choreographer for the Cecilia Bracamonte that will premier in November, 2013 in Lima Peru.
